Social Hall Update

Rudy Vilardi  (22 Azalea) has stepped up to lead a special Capital Improvements Committee project to definitively determine how to move forward with the social hall. A dozen other cooperators have also volunteered to help. A big thank you to all!

Key items to be addressed include:  structural integrity, foundation usability, demolition estimate, replacement/repair estimates (for structure, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc), ADA compliance, permits, and more.

Visit For Cooperators > Forms and Documents > FLCC Social Hall Progress Tracking to stay up to date with the progress.

6th Annual FLCC Porch Crawl

Sunday September 6, 2026 @ 2pm. Rain or shine.

Like a bar crawl, we move from porch to porch sampling homemade drinks & appetizers generously provided by members of the community. Note: This is a 21+ event! Alcohol will be served.

We are doing things differently this year. You must pre-register via this form to participate in the crawl and/or be a host. Signup for both crawlers & hosts closes on Sunday, August 2nd.

A big thank you to Daniel Abrams for organizing,

Online Maintenance Requests Project Phase 2

Improvements to the maintenance request system (suggested / discussed at the 2025 annual meeting) continue. Phase 2 Beta testing for entering maintenance requests online is complete. Feel free to submit your next ticket online to give it a try! We’ll officially roll it out once we see how well it goes…

Also, if you write your email address at the top of your paper tickets, you’ll receive emails with progress updates.

Improving Communication…

Many communication improvement ideas were brought up at the 2025 annual meeting. Here are some changes that are underway:

  • Our Events committee has listed all the summer’s events here.
  • Some website cleanup and menu reorganizing makes navigation easier / more intuitively obvious. The ongoing to do list is here.
  • Phase 1 of a process to bring maintenance request tickets into the 21st century is actually happening!!
  • All 2025 maintenance request tickets and their progress are being added here. Search for your specific ticket or see all tickets for all common areas.

3rd Annual FLCC Porch Crawl

The 3rd Annual porch crawl was a resounding success.

Thanks to Daniel Abrams for organizing, Michelle for getting the word out organizing and to all the hosts .

Forest Lake County Club Improvements Summer 2023

You may notice as you walk to Lakefront this year that we have done a bit of sprucing up! The crumbling border around the triangle space has been removed and replaced with brand-new lumber. The next step will be to upgrade the planting to hopefully be a beautiful butterfly garden.

In addition, we  have had our landscapers give our entrance some much needed love.

Also, some generous cooperators donated some beautiful flowers to fill the pots at the entrance to the lake. Feel free to give them a little water if they look dry!

For all our dog lovers, we have installed a new entrance gate to get to doggie beach. This should make it safer for both you and your pooch as the sight lines are much better and there is no incline to traverse.

The laundry room on Carnation has finally gotten some care.  The hot water heater has been replaced and the rotten boards on the the outside are being replaced and the building will been repainted.
