The Social Hall Committee has been working diligently this summer exploring options for the social hall. It’s time now for you to weigh in and provide some direction.

At the 2026 annual shareholders meeting, we collectively decided to bring the FLCC directory up to date by gathering your contact information using an online form that allows you to control which contact information you’d like to share with the community. Your name and FLCC address are required; your email address and phone number(s) are optional.

To be included in the directory, complete and submit the FLCC Contact Information Form.

The directory is available on the For Cooperators > Forms and Documents webpage, and to keep it secure, only cooperators who complete the form are granted access.

Rudy Vilardi  (22 Azalea) has stepped up to lead a special Capital Improvements Committee project to definitively determine how to move forward with the social hall. A dozen other cooperators have also volunteered to help. A big thank you to all!

Key items to be addressed include:  structural integrity, foundation usability, demolition estimate, replacement/repair estimates (for structure, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc), ADA compliance, permits, and more.

Due to the huge, damaging storm this evening, the 2026 annual shareholder meeting scheduled for tomorrow morning is being postponed until next Sunday, July 12th, still at 10:00 am.

FLCC shirts, hats, mugs, key chains, and refrigerator magnets, including 50th Anniversary specialty items are available for purchase here.

Improvements to the maintenance request system (suggested / discussed at the 2025 annual meeting) continue. Phase 2 Beta testing for entering maintenance requests online is complete. Feel free to submit your next ticket online to give it a try! We’ll officially roll it out once we see how well it goes…

Also, if you write your email address at the top of your paper tickets, you’ll receive emails with progress updates.

Many communication improvement ideas were brought up at the 2025 annual meeting. Here are some changes that are underway:

• Our Events committee has listed all the summer’s events here.
• Some website cleanup and menu reorganizing makes navigation easier / more intuitively obvious. The ongoing to do list is here.
• Phase 1 of a process to bring maintenance request tickets into the 21st century is actually happening!!
• All 2025 maintenance request tickets and their progress are being added here. Search for your specific ticket or see all tickets for all common areas.
