Due to the Covid-19 epidemic and various states of emergency, the County of Dutchess has delayed the opening of all seasonal communities until May 30th, 2020. County ordinance below:

Upcoming Road Construction in the Forest Lake Area
The Dutchess County DPW is pleased to announce the construction of two improvement projects in our area.
Reconstruction of Beekman Road(County Rd 9) between the Taconic State Parkway and Sylvan Lake Rd. (County Rd 10).
Bridge replacement over the Fishkill Creek on Phillips Road.
Work will begin in the spring of 2020 and last up to 15 months.

End Of the Season Photos
It was 33 Degrees at 7:30AM on October 19, 2019 when we left our bungalow for the last time this season and headed south. I took some parting shots of Sylvan Lake, which was covered with fog. Enjoy the pics and have a safe winter. See you in the Spring. 
Update For Sale List
New Washers/Dryers are here!
On October 7th, 2019 all FLCC laundry rooms were updated with brand-new washers and dryers. They make look the same, but they are brand-new. The washers have three load levels: light ($1.50), medium ($1.75) and heavy($2.00). The dryers are $1.50 per cycle. Each Laundry room has a placard with instructions on how to use the machines as well as instructions on how to report an outage. If you have an Iphone you can download the app right in the laundry room to report an issue. It’s easy and no being put on hold. Of course, you can still call if you prefer.
So for all you cooperaters who left before the new machines arrived, we will have all new machines waiting for you in 2020!

Maintenance Update
For those of you who might have noticed, there is a trench behind the canteen building. The maintenance staff is currently replacing an older drainage system that is no longer doing it’s job. In addition the septic system in that area is being corrected as well.

Yoga at the lake has been cancelled.
The annual BBQ will be held at 5:00PM , rain or shine.
If raining, it will be at the Social Hall.
If the weather is nice, it will be at the Pavilion.
